The Consortium of the European OpenECG project announces herewith the 2^nd OpenECG workshop. The aim of this workshop is to report about the results from the work done within the project, to present the awards of the OpenECG Programming Contest on ECG interoperability tools and to continue the discussion with manufacturers about OpenECG interchange and its progress in the standardisation process, interoperability for computer assisted electrocardiography for resting as well as for stress and Holter ECG tests.

The programme will comprise invited lectures on specific topics, detailed information about OpenECG results and presentations of the award winners. There will be oral presentations from selected abstracts and open discussions during breakout sessions. Presentations on the future activities within the 6th EU FW programme and on related current R&D work will be included.
