The contest:

• is a competition of skill, no admission fee is necessary to participate;
• is open for natural person contestants (private persons) at least 18 years of age. Groups of max two people can participate in the contest as a single entity;
• employees and contractors of the OpenECG Consortium and the Judging Committee as well as members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

The contestant:

• warrants that the submitted application does not infringe any patent, copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right;
• warrants that the submitted application does not contain any viruses or perform any function other than that described in the attached specifications;
• warrants the submitted application is released to OpenECG consortium with a royalty free, non-exclusive, perpetual worldwide license to reproduce, modify, prepare derivative works and publish in public domain and non-proprietary form;
• warrants to implicitly accept all the contest rules.
